Matt Hauser

Property Accountant

Matthew Hauser joined Providence Management Group Services in 2020 with over twenty years of Commercial Real Estate Accounting. During his career, he has been responsible for a variety of accounting/finance functions and is intimately familiar with treasury management, cash flow analysis, budgeting, property management accounting, audit/tax preparation, tax credit incentives, and system migrations.

While originally from Tidewater Virginia, he began his career in Northern Virginia working as a job cost accountant for a General Contractor focused on delivering national retail banks. In 2006, he made the move to Charlotte to work as a Senior Construction/Development accountant for Lauth Property Group’s SouthEast Region where he managed an annual portfolio of $150M+. Prior to joining PGMS, he also held roles as the controller for SunCap Property Group, a private national developer focused on delivering Class A industrial and multifamily assets and GRH Development Resources, developer focused on delivering an 1,008 acre mixed use master planned development.

Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Information Systems (ACIS) from Virginia Tech and maintains a current license as a North Carolina Real Estate Broker.
