Eric Howell is a Charlotte native with more than 17 years of experience spanning real estate leasing, construction, and development. Throughout his career, he has contributed to projects across major East Coast markets, building a comprehensive skill set that enhances his ability to deliver strategic, client-focused solutions in commercial real estate.

Eric joined The Providence Group in 2018, beginning in property management, where he further developed his expertise in the commercial sector. This experience provides him with a unique perspective on site selection and property merchandising, allowing him to approach each assignment with both operational insight and market awareness.

With a strong foundation in customer service and construction, Eric specializes in shop space leasing, land and outparcel sourcing, and detailed market analysis throughout the Carolinas. His thoughtful, data-driven approach ensures alignment with his clients’ objectives and supports successful project outcomes.

Eric represents a range of national retail clients, including Firehouse Subs, Great Clips, Wingstop, PostNet, and Nothing Bundt Cakes. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds real estate brokerage licenses in both North and South Carolina. In addition, Eric serves as President of the City Park Master Association, a mixed-use retail and multifamily development in Charlotte.
